2 Weekends, 2 Incredible Food Banks to Support!

This year, the DMV Chocolate & Coffee Festival is hosting food drives at both our Maryland and Virginia events, each benefiting a local organization helping neighbors facing food insecurity. Bring a canned food item to the festival you attend and help support families in that community.

Maryland Food Drive - DMV Chocolate and Coffee Festival ~ November 7 & 8
At the Maryland Edition, your canned food donations will support The Salvation Army in Germantown, which helps individuals and families throughout Montgomery County access food and emergency assistance. Their work helps neighbors facing financial hardship meet essential needs, from putting food on the table to keeping their utilities on. Bring your canned food donations to the table located outside, next to the WGTS 91.9 tent.
Virginia Food Drive - DMV Chocolate and Coffee Festival ~ November 14 & 15
We’re excited to partner again with Food for Others, which has helped Northern Virginia families facing food insecurity since 1995. Through food rescue, community donations, and the support of volunteers, the organization provides groceries to neighbors struggling to afford essentials such as food, housing, and healthcare. Food drives supply most of its nonperishable food, so your donation helps keep those resources available. Food donation drop-off points will be available on both floors at all three festival entrances. Bring your canned food items to the WGTS 91.9 booth, the Food for Others booth, or our festival team at the outdoor entrance.
A Thank-You for Giving
At either event, when you donate a canned food item you can receive a $2 off your admission ticket if you are purchasing at the Box Office. You can also scan the QR code at the donation area for a chance to win a festival prize pack and four VIP tickets to next year’s event!
We look forward to hosting you at both the Maryland and Virginia festivals this year!
